Dark, cold void. Soundtrack for the times you loose control of your life. A downward spiral with suicidal tendencies. As a manic depression it will not work on the dancefloor, but paints your basement-rooms in darkest black. The very melancholic link between the dark electronic industrial era of Nin Kuji and the following rhythmic noise era.
“Hitori (jap. lonely/single) is a very special and very personal album for me. And it was done for me, only!
When recording and mix have been finished in 2005, i decided to release it NOT. Well, i/we worked hard for that and tried to put a lot of new ideas and equipment in there. This should become the next step, the next level of quality and deepness. More shaping of an unique Nin Kuji-Sound. I also thought about sending this release to labels to get a deal.
I put so much emotion into Hitori. So much hate, bitterness, loneliness, disappointment, … I would even go that far and call it the saddest release i made so far. The problem: it was my way to handle the months after a broken relationship. I’m the well experienced overlord of suffering, of course, but finally i didn’t want to hurt the lost partner anymore. Hitori spits out so many bad thoughts and hate – i was not able to release the finished album anymore, didn’t want to keep these emotion alive.”

>> About nine thousand years later this package of songs and artwork-drawings was found in the kuji-archives. With the distance of so many years the new decision was to publish what HipHop-artists would call „The lost tape“. Not a tape, okay.
